Ron Burchfield has always dedicated his life to serving others. Before entering the excavation and land services industry, Ron built a career as both a police officer and a fireman. Protecting and serving his community was more than a job – it was his calling. After retiring, Ron sought a new path that would let him stay active, hands-on, and connected to the outdoors he loves.

A close friend introduced him to construction and dirt work, and Ron quickly discovered his second calling. He worked extensively in the mulching side of the business before taking the leap and purchasing a company outright. In June 2022, he founded Coastal Mulching and Clearing, LLC, bringing together his dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic to create one of the region’s most trusted excavation and land development providers.
